    Description: This cartoon reflects suspicions of British collaboration with the Confederacy. President Lincoln leans on a fifteen-inch cannon as John Bull asks:” Hi want my cotton bought at f’ pence a pound.” Lincoln replies: “Don’t know anything about it, my dear sir. Your friends, the rebels are burning all the cotton they find and I confiscate the rest. Good morning, John.”
