Description: Lincoln holds a large envelope upside-down as broken chains and a paper that says, “Constitutional Amendment Jan. 31 1865, ” fall to the ground. Lincoln responds, “This is like a dream I once had in Illinois.” The Constitutional amendment that Lincoln received was the abolishing of slavery in the United States, the thirteenth amendment.
